Socks

I've bought socks from Nordstrom for years, but apparently Nordstrom has stopped carrying the kind I always bought. I bought these because, as far as I could tell from the brief description and the photograph, whose resolution was VERY poor, these were similar to those I'd been buying. Unfortunately these turned out to be quite different, and IMO inferior. Had I known, I would not have bought these. Nordstrom does not understand that, if people are going to buy via the web instead of by going into a store where they can see the merchandise up close, the website must have GOOD, HIGH-RESOLUTION, photographs.

I just received these socks using online delivery. These are the lowest quality, thinnest, crummiest, junckiest socks ever. Socks at your local discount store that starts with a 'W' probably have better socks. I've already boxed up these pieces of junk. Learned my lesson...NEVER buy undergarments on sale sight unseen.

I usually wear the over the calf Nordstrom socks but tried these on a recommendation. The 'big" size, reputedly for shoe sizes 13-15, are snug on my size 12 feet. The socks tend to slide down to shoe tops. I will continue to buy the standard Nordstrom over the calf socks. The material, however, is very comfortable and would make great socks if sizing was better and better support of the top of the sock.
