Classic & Elegant
I purchased this for my husband who likes it quite well. For years he wore Tuscany which was discontinued. It took a while to find a more traditional cologne that suited both of us. This has a rich amber, tobacco undertone with a slightly sweet spice on top. It is not aggressively sweet, not fruity, not sharp or bright like so many "water" or "blue" colognes currently in fashion. This soaks into the skin, reminds me of soft wool, pipe tobacco, fireplace smoke and fall leaves. A gentlemen's comfortable scent.

Manly, spicy, leathery
I got this for my boyfriend not too long ago, this scent is very different to many other colognes that he has had. I find it to be a very subtle fragrance. It has spicy tones with some leathery scents. I love this fragrance, would definitely recommend this to others.

Classy
I bough this cologne two weeks ago I been wearing it since then I have had lots of complements is sexy, masculine and versatile. I can wear it everyday or just for going out. It's a combination of freshness and wood. It's something different from any other fragrance. I highly recommended.

This cologne is fresh, airy, kinda like reminiscent of a another cologne titled Fahrenheit. For me at least the fragrance doesn't stick around. Wears off quickly. For the price it should stick around awhile.

My husband needed a new cologne, so after reading the reviews, I thought we would give the John Varvatos 'Vintage' a shot. The bottle is sophisticated and I am beyond pleased with the subtle, masculine fragrance! I haven't given it to my husband yet, it's a birthday gift, but I know he will be just as pleased. This is what all men should smell like ❤
