I think these fit in the “slightly oversized trend” category. I’m a size 2 and got the 26 and they fit comfortably, not too tight but not too loose either. No one wants to be squeezed into denim shorts in the blazing hot summer. I love the color. Maybe slightly lighter than the photo but I actually wanted lighter denim (the other review said they’re lighter than the pic, so that’s why I got them). Very happy and I’m thinking I need another pair as I write this lol

Color is completely different
First off, the color is completely different in person than what the picture shows online. They are a lot more faded which is what I did NOT want. Secondly, I’m in between a size 26 & 27 so I ordered the 27. They are pretty roomy. The 26 would have fit much better.
Lastly, the quality seems decent but if I’m spending over $100 on shorts, I want them to be perfect. Will likely return.

Not very relaxed.
These are very nice quality, and have held up to multiple washes without the fraying getting out of hand. But they are not truly "relaxed". It is impossible to find denim shorts if you have large thighs. How do 0 designers realize that nobody wants shorts that are TIGHT or dig into their thighs? Update your patterns for bigger sizes! Only someone with relatively skinny legs and a bigger waist line will get a fit like the model in the photos. But really, those individuals get this fit in any shorts. These are wearable. Some seasons go by where I cannot buy shorts at all. They don't cut into my legs, but, they pretty much fit right to skin. Denim quality is good, color is good, just disappointed by the fit as usual.

Button fly and big!
Color is as described on the website. I wished the description said they were button fly - I looked again just now and it's not marked. They are too big even though I read a number of the other reviews and sized down. Also, even though relaxed, they are just not cute at all. Returning.

perfect summer short
I love that these shorts aren’t too short or too long. They are also not too tight on the thighs if you have an athletic build or larger thighs. Love them!
