Dreamy, elevated, classy Rose interpretation
This fragrance deserves Honorable Mention! It is an evening out or special occasion scent. I have combined this Sister with something lighter, fresher and brighter, so my 'Velvet Rose & Oud' can evolve into a mysteriously memorable daytime blend. The fragrance has some sparkle, a hint of smokey warmth and a heart hearing the beat of its own drum! Picture the freshness of the Rose floral combined with leather topped off with a hug of woods after the fresh rain. Complex but gorgeously well balanced. Thanks Jo!

Burns on Skin
Oh my if I'd only started using my cologne sooner I could have returned it. This stuff burns if sprayed on the skin and causes itching and redness. Such a disappoint.

Rose love!
If you love Red Roses or Rosewater and Vanilla from Jo Malone you won't regret adding this to your floral collection! I feel like this scent would be the perfect winter scent, bold and sensual. Great for snuggling next to your favorite person while sitting by a cozy fire or a romantic sleigh ride in the snow!

Fantastic Scent the Best of Malone
This one is fantastic. It is more for winter and perfect for the Holidays. If you spray it one a scarf or a coat sleeve it lasts practically forever and smells wonderfully intoxicating. It is worth the money.

Smoky, Romantic and Elegant
The "intense" quality of the Velvet Rose and Oud makes for a long lasting fragrance - especially for a cologne. Of all my luxury colognes, this is certainly a favorite.
Think mature, sophisticated, intelligently designed. This is no little girl playing dress up. The oud adds the intensity, whereas the rose is a red, in full bloom, lush and ripe.
If you are searching for light and fresh, the Red Roses cologne may favor better. I have both and I wear this on my power days or for a night out.

I love Jo Malone but this fragrance is much more rich and subtle than the standard rose scent. Definitely recommend!
