Something new
Well, I enjoy trying new scents and I've never NOT liked anything I've tried from JM so I thought I'd give this a shot. I'm not sorry because the scent is perfectly pleasant. Unfortunately, that's about the best thing I can say about it. At least the body and hand wash version. Perhaps the actual cologne is better, but the wash is pretty unimpressive. Scent is of nothing much at all. I will stick with my Blackberry and Bay or Pomegranate Noir.

Quickly Endeared Me....
I have been an advocate of Jo Malone fragrances for over 10 years. I currently have 7 faves on my vanity. But, I gotta say, THIS Poppy and Barley has become a quick favorite body wash! Most of the other JM body washes don’t last once your out of the shower, and I do I have a few different JM body washes which I switch daily, but this is my go-to, perfect all around, for it’s scent, soft skin, moisturizing… The best thing about the Poppy and Barley is the subtle, yet it has a wonderful lingering scent it leaves behind...so much that I am often asked what cologne I am wearing. Another thing, whatever JM is adds to this body wash to make that inviting scent last, it should be added to other fragrances. I Love the the scent that lingers, long after I am out of the shower. I am not a fan of heavy distracting cologne. I prefer the subtly of the scent that makes people ask what that was... When my man comes over, he always comments on how good I smell! I love bathing in Poppy and Barley! I just purchased another 2 !

I adore this fragrance
I love Jo Malone hand washes. You only need half a pump to give a good wash. Love this scent and I have the perfume as well.
