What it is: A jumbo-size bottle of the richly lathering body and hand wash that cleanses skin while fragrancing it in the scent of English Pear & Freesia.
Fragrance story: The sensuous freshness of just-ripe pears is wrapped in a bouquet of white freesias and mellowed by amber, patchouli and woods. King William pear opens the scent. An unusual, innovative ingredient, this accord of mellow scented fruit is fresh and ripe with a juicy facet. Freesia defines the heart. Quintessentially English, cool white freesias imbue the heart of the fragrance with a delicate yet distinctive scent. Patchouli grounds the scent. Patchouli is a sensuously deep, woody note that enhances the longevity of the fragrance.

Disappointed
For my birthday I received a gift voucher for Jo Maline and as I am new to the brand my daughter-in-law arranged for us to have a Hand and Arm Massage the sales assistant was very knowledgable about the fragrances and showed us how to layer the products we were particularly impressed with the Hand & Body Wash which the sales assistant whipped up in to an impressive foam with an aerolator she told us even without this we would be to achieve similar results at home. At the end I bought a cologne and a couple of Hand & Body washes for myself and daughter, both of us are very disappointed by the wash no foamy consistency however much water or product used!

Body wash arrived with no box. If that was a gift - you need to buy your own box or put it somewhere else. there is no dispenser. If you want to use it as hand wash, you need to replace the bottle with diffuser.

Scent is magnificent. Size is spectacular. My reason for a 4 star is one, I have never been able to get a Jo Malone pump to open the spring and two, I dropped this on my bath mat immediately after opening and the entire plastic bottle cracked open. I desperately collected what soap I could into my own decorative dispenser. The original bottle is gorgeous enough to leave as is but the fragility of the plastic container concerns me.
