Maryeli Pointed Toe (Women)

I really like the new 'Maryeli' boots by Jessica Simpson. I received my black pair earlier this month and they're great. In my normal boot size the fit for both length and width is very good. Even though the toe shape is pointy, I have no pinching or soreness. The heels are tall but that's a requirement for me. The heels are very stable and walkable... I've had no trouble standing, walking, or driving in these boots. I'm 5' 6" tall and the shafts of the boots come up to just below my knees. My calves are 14 1/2" around and the shafts fit very comfortably with about a thumb's width of room at the top. The shafts stay up on their own and don't fall down: 'Maryeli' is not a slouch style. I've been wearing my black pair all day with leggings and a tank top for a work-from-home day. It's almost bedtime and I'm still wearing the boots... they're that comfortable. The embellishments are a sparkly applique and -not- glitter. The decorations stay on and don't rub off. The construction and materials are both pretty good for the price. I went back to Nordie's and picked up the denim color and the off-white color too!
