The quality of Jenni Kayne knits is unparalleled
The quality of Jenni Kayne knits is unparalleled. I own the cashmere fisherman sweater in camel and had to buy the gray when I saw it on sale at Nordstrom! I also have it in cotton in black, and I love them all equally. It is warm, soft and cozy, keeping you warm, but also not so warm that you overheat. I have hand washed these sweaters, as well as used at home dry cleaning kits and they wash and wear beautifully.

Cashmere Sweater
I was super excited about getting this sweater- very disappointed. Thin material and weirdly shaped. Big arms and very short at the waist. Also very staticky.

Was super excited to order this as it got great reviews and was exactly what I was looking for as a neutral closet staple. I found the quality to be lacking and the material not as soft as expected for cashmere. It also was short waisted. I would not have purchased this if I saw it in person as it looks much better online.

I don’t understand the hype
I bought three cashmere fisherman sweaters from three different sources ranging in price from $60 to JK’s ridiculous $395. The JK cashmere is thin and scratchy and it wrinkles easily when you tuck it in. Not the quality I expected. Not worth the splurge. Was piling within a few hours of wearing.

Great Basic
I love this sweater. I am 5’2” and 100 lbs, I usually am between a size S and an XS and the XS in this style is a perfect fit. I tried a S from Jenni Kayne a few months ago and returned it. The sweater has a nice relaxed fit in the body and the sleeves are long, so sizing up is not necessary. It’s described as cropped, but it hit just at/below the hipbone for me. It’s a great weight, not too heavy or light. The cashmere is very cozy and a great quality. I ordered the oatmeal, which is a gorgeous neutral color (accurately pictured on Nordstrom site) and it was just what I was looking for.
