'Lita' Bootie

I wear a size 11, so for me the shoes fit but were a bit tight at the top (pinky toes). I tried a few leather stretching techniques (water in bag then freeze method, and hair dryer). Both were effective but the shoes were still a little tight. Other than that they were very easy to walk in. If you wear a 10 1/2 or over, this may not be your ideal high-heel.

Could not wait to wear them when they came in the mail! I'm a petite 5'1" but with these shoes, I feel like I rival the height of supermodels! Just kidding, but no really, I felt super tall. No discomfort, no toe pinching (which happens all too often in most heels). I usually need a bigger width but these platforms were seriously perfect. The only bad thing was the laces tend to undo themselves but double-knotting fixes that. Had to exchange them a week later because a loose flap was rubbing and causing blisters and Nordstroms was very accommodating. I'm more of a heels-on-a-weekend girl but the Litas are gamechanging. They're my daily shoes and I plan my outfits around these shoes now.

I'll admit, I've never been great at wearing tall heals but I can wear them. However this shoe although it looks beautiful, is a killer. I was walking down the stairs and fell. Scuffed both knees pretty bad then returned them the next day. If you can walk in almost 5 inch heals then bravo. But these babies are not for me.

When I first laid my eyes on JC's "Lita", I HAD to have them! Now a wardrobe staple, I can't imagine ever not wearing these! Single most comfortable heeled boot you'll ever own! I was cautious the platform height would cause me to twist an ankle, but I couldn't trip in these even if I tried. The leather is sturdy and difficult to scratch. I'm convinced these booties will outlive me! Look no further-- you've found the absolute epitome of all booties!

I got my first pair of litas about 4 weeks ago and I absolutely adore them. I got them in taupe and they go with absolutely everything. These are not shoes for people who aren't confident in their style because besides the tons of compliments you will receive, people give you some crazy looks but I dont care because they are so adorable. I got taupe in a size 8 and a week later got another pair- the black distressed lita in a 7.5 because the ankle is looser on the leather litas. These shoes ROCK. I wear them everywhere. They are a great statement piece and can be dressed up or down. I have worn these all day and around downtown Portland for hours without feeling any pain. Takes one or two wears to break them in and I can honestly say they are one of my more comfortable pairs of shoes. Get a pair of litas, you won't regret it!

I got my Litas for a steal at a local Nordstrom Rack. I have tried to wear them whenever I can! I'm already a tall girl at 5'10, but these shoes are so killer that I just don't care that I tower over my guy friends. I am definitely going to be buying these in more colors. They are sooo easy to walk in. I wasn't expecting that. Your foot is almost flat inside the shoe due to the platform. I am 100% satisfied.
