Gallery Sandal (Women)

I do not have ~700 dollars to buy the original shoe style from The Row, so I was super excited to stumble across these. Based on other reviews I ordered a half size up in this sandal. I'm usually at 7.5 but I ordered an 8. They seem to fit just fine, although I probably could have gone with my regular size (but hard to say). I didn't feel at all that the straps were too tight, just an overall comfortable fit. My only issue is the way the shoe straps on. It's difficult to describe but instead of tightening the strap the usual way, there is a clasp that hooks around the buckle that secures it in place. At first I thought the buckle had just snapped and I was super disappointed in the construction, but upon further inspection of the shoe I had not tired on, I realized that it hadn't broken. The shoes look gorgeous and fit great but I am concerned that the strap could snap or pop off at any time which would be really inconvenient, so I'm still up in the air as to whether o not to keep them. For the price I shouldn't have to take them to a shoe repair, but at the same time I love them enough that I just might, in order to see if there's a fix for the strap so I won't have to worry. If you're on the fence I would say order them and try them for yourself.
