another Jeffery Campbell with weird sizing
The boot is gorgeous. It’s a bit too long and too narrow in the toe. I’m usually a 7 but since all my JC shoes run small I got the 7.5 in this. The fit is fine but it’s way too loose around the ankle. I thought I could tighten the buckle around the ankle but it’s just for show. There’s Velcro underneath and if you try to tighten it, the leather under it bunches up. I was so disappointed because I really love the style of this boot. But it’s so loose around the ankle, I can’t walk in it. If I get a 7, it will be too tight in the toe like all my other Jeffery Campbell shoes.
