I love these heels so much I spent money to have them fit me!! I don't have a wide foot but not narrow either but the thickness (from sole of foot to top of foot) is what is important for the fit of these shoes. The straps on were so loose that my pinkie toes would slip out between the straps - very tacky. So I had my wonderful shoe guy sew the strap near the outside of my toes to the strap across the all of the toes. I couldn't be happier! So if you have a thick foot then these would work without alternations.
