very happy
I had been obsessing over the Stuart Weitzman highland boots for some time and since I couldn't come up with enough money to buy them I began looking for alternative OTK boot options. These boots are amazing for the price. I'm not sure if the entire boot is genuine suede or not, but the quality seems very nice and looks far from cheap. They also are very comfortable. I can wear them over skinny jeans or by themselves with shorts, a skirt or a dress. Even though I'm only 5'2" these boots hit below mid thigh with some slouch. I'm 104 pounds and there is a little bit of space between my leg and the top of the shaft, not enough to fall down though. I also have larger calves for my size and they still fit me very well. The only thing I wish were different about these boots is that I wish there was no zipper (like the SW highland boots).

BAFFLED
With all due respect to the 15 other reviewers, these boots are hiddeous and rediculously overpriced. Jeffrey Campbell I suggest a refresher course in design.
First let me describe the presentation, something I have never seen before: The box is small for boots this long. I own several pair of Marc Fischer OTK boots and isn't it a treat that they arrive unfolded in a box befitting their length. I open this standard shoe box, and am hit with an overwhelming petrolium odor, I cannot stress how strong the smell is. I squint trying to make out what I am seeing, the boots are folded up in bundles and placed in bags which I cannot beging to describe (web like? But opaque). There are these 1.5 X 1.5 stickers all over the inside of the box that are anti-fungal stickers, and I wonder why all the concern about fungus? The only nice thing I can say is that the wine color is pretty but the material is so cheap, and the workmanship is stunningly poor. I only bothered with the right boot, the zipper which should be hidden, is very cheap and is exposed. The fit, it is a thigh high boot going approximately 6" above my knee (5' 6") and my legs are thin. These boots would never stay up on me, the calves say they are 13" are baggy and the thigh is too loose. If it were a boot of good quality It would only work if worn over jeans. The heel is as ugly as it looks on line, the only reason I ordered it is because of the "great" reviews, so much for that. If you want to look like a person with no taste, and throw good money after bad and order these bowzers anyway: if you are between sizes go down half a size they do run a tad large. If I were you I would order the Steve Madden's being price matched, they are infinitely more stylish still a little baggy on a thin leg but no anti fungal stickers everywhere!! I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder???

absolutely adore these!
I was terrified to order these after reading the reviews, as I'm only 5'1, 87 lbs; but I took the plunge, and could not be happier.
For reference, I ordered the Black Suede in a Size 6. I'm typically a size 5.5, but since that size wasn't available, I ordered the 6 and it fits well - slightly loose, but nothing a thick sock can't fix.
These fit the thighs and legs so well - like a second skin. Not gonna lie, they will slouch just the teensiest bit after wear for awhile, and they do make a tiny pooch at the ankle where the zipper is - but both are virtually unnoticeable to the eye {only the wearer is aware}.
I will admit that these got higher up the leg than your standard OTK - reaching mid-thigh; but since I'm wearing them with black leggings a lot of the time, I don't see this is as an issue. Rather, it just makes me look like I have legs for days - and who doesn't want that?! The heel height is perfection for longtime wearer - being both comfortable and sturdy.
Do not hesitate on these ladies - buy a pair now!

super soft and super tall boots
The thing I'm most excited about is that I'm 6' tall and these hit mid-thigh on me. I noticed the description for this same boot on various sites gave a different shaft height. I measured them when I got them and it's at least 28" which is incredibly hard to find, so tall ladies rejoice! Also of note, the black suede was extremely soft-the quality is very good. I haven't worn them out of the house yet but they stayed up while I was walking around the house, no slouching. This is the best purchase I've made recently and I would recommend these to anyone, especially tall people.

amaze
I own quite a few OTK from stuart weitzman and this is a really great alternative! Suede is good quality for the price and the heel height is perfect. I am 5'2 and about 105 pounds. They fit my legs perfect!

Tall!!
Bought for my adult daughter - super cute except they came not just above the knee but halfway up her thigh. We loved but ended up returning.
