Amma Platform Slingback Sandal (Women)

I love the quality of these heels. Material is great, and they are incredibly cute. The velcro buckle closure came as a surprise to me, too. Other reviewers noted this. Here's the big issue with these heels: the velcro closure does not allow for great adjustments. I don't have thin ankles at all, and the closure still felt loose on me no matter how tight I pulled back on the strap. I walked for a few minutes in them, and while the velcro does not seem to loosen while walking, it certainly doesn't feel as secure as I would like it to be. When it comes to a heel with this height, I wouldn't recommend trading a traditional buckle for a velcro strap if you want more stability. Wanted to love these. Very cute, but just not what I was looking for in a heel I will be walking all day in.

These shoes are so cute and comfortable! The strap actually velcros closed instead of clasps which I found to be an interesting detail. I’m usually a 7.5 but had to size up to an 8 in these. That happened with another pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes I own too. Definitely recommend! They remind me of a Prada pair I saw but obviously these are a better price!
