Dream Tint Moisture Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 15

In my quest to find more natural beauty products, specifically those that are free of parabens and other nasty chemicals, I was fortunate enough to discover the Jane Iredale line and just love it. It feels like department store makeup but natural, and not in an "earthy-crunchy" way. I use this over a light moisturizer or the Jane Iredale Smooth Affair and get very nice results, light coverage with a little sun protection. If the SPF were higher it would be even better. For reference, I used to use the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in Porcelain or Nude and the medium/light shade in the Jane Iredale is a great replacement. To me, this is a modern Estee Lauder and is going in the direction I wish more cosmetic companies would go.

This is a great product. I use the Jane Iredale powder foundation and this is the perfect primer. No need to use liquid foundation anymore! I don't use it as sunscreen...because SPF 15 isn't enough to keep me from burning but it provides great coverage for days when you want to go out 'makeup' free but still have a little something on. I also have really sensitive skin and this have never caused me to break out or have a negative reaction. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is that it can get cakey....if you apply too much or your skin is too dry.

Unfortunately I am returning this. It is not "tinted" at all - it's literally a white face sunscreen with a hint of yellow. It did not do anything to the shade of the skin. I usually use tinted moisturizer as a "foundation" and this definitely does not cut it, unfortunately. As a sunscreen however, it is awesome! No smell, not oily, and no residue.

I've struggled w/ tinted moisturizer in the past, but the Dream Tint was a perfect find. It nicely compliments my skin and doesn't clog my pores. I love how versatile the product is. During the week, I simply throw it on w/ chapstick + mascara and it instantly wakens up my face. For going out, I use it as a foundation for my powder to keep from reapplying throughout the night. I love it so much, I bought two! One to keep at home + one to keep in my purse just in case something comes up while I'm out.

I have been using Jane Iredale's liquid minerals since I was introduced to it in beauty school when I was 18. Recently I was sent a small sample of this product and I fell in love with it. The coverage is much lighter than the foundation, which is appropriate for certain activities. I had always felt a little silly wearing full foundation at the gym, and sometimes at school it feels like overkill. This provides light, silky coverage that I wear when I want to feel a bit more casual. It smooths over the spots I have from sun damage, which is all I really want. I often set it with my Jane Iredale pressed powder. In liquid minerals and the pressed powder, I use the color Radiant, which is on the lighter end of the neutral skin tone spectrum, and the medium light color of this tinted moisturizer works perfectly for me. Additionally, my mother uses this stuff and she loves it for the SPF and the coverage. She wears it almost daily, for regular activities and for kayaking.
