Great quality, very close fit
I bought this jacket in black and ordered the larger of the two sizes I take in James Perse. I love it but the cut and sizing will not work for everyone. It fits more like a top than like outerwear and suits a smaller upper body well.
The style fits very close with ribbed panel inserts running up the sides of the body similar to the panels in some of this brand's fitted shirts. The jacket will not work over a bulky top but is fine over a t-shirt. It is also quite short with the center back length of my size 2 (4-6) being a bit over 21 inches and the upper edge of the half belt across the back falling at 15 inches. So it will work for someone short-waisted or petite, though the sleeves are long and would have to be shortened for a petite.
The fabric feels like a luxurious sweatshirt -- soft, comfortable, and stretchy with almost a brushed finish on the outside and loops like a French terry on the inside. The black color is very deep and rich.

Great quality, very close fit

Just okay
Honestly, I feel bad saying this but I didn't think the jacket was anything special. The material was soft but the fit was boxy and not so flattering.

It's as good as everyone says
Yes, this is essentially a sweatshirt, so comfortable. But it is cut in way that it doesn't look like a sweatshirt at all. I got it in both black and dark green. I'll use the black more but the green also seems versatile. It did not run small for me. I am a 6 and 2 fits best, even though 3 might be better for layering.

Soft as a baby's bottom blazer
First of all, this is as soft as a baby's bottom. I know, it is just fleece, but I promise you that you will just want to pet it. I bought a size 4 because I have a 34G chest (38.5 inches) and 34 inch waist, and it fits comfortably, even when I button it closed with plenty of room to put things on under it. In fact the underarm area is quite roomy. The arms are really long and extend to 2/3 down my fingers. I measured them from the shoulder seam, and they are 28 inches. Fortunately, they have a simple straight seam, and would be easily tailored (or tucked under if you are lazy). I got the grey color because the black was sold out. I think the back is very flattering with the ribbing down the sides and the belt across, but for me the front looked kind of frumpy, so I will be returning it, as I seem to need a little more structure. No fault with the jacket itself.

No Brainer
I missed out on this great blazer last year, but snapped it up this year in black. I LOVE it!! It will be one of my go to's this fall/winter. The blazer is a no brainer...that's what makes it so great. Jeans, check. Cami or tee, check. Booties, check, James Perse blazer, check. Be prepared to wear it a lot!!
