Ellis Water Resistant Chelsea Boot (Men)

I needed boots that looked great at the office, in a family picture or rocking a pair of jeans. I never wanted to be that guy in the office that hits his mid 30’s and suddenly wants to look and feel like a Cowboy. I also wanted to avoid looking like a guy wearing Doc Martin’s or a dressy pair of combat boots. I love sneakers without being obsessive, for the most part, but sometimes even jeans need to be paired with shoes that are a tad more mature. I didn’t want full on Cowboy boots because that isn’t my style. I have nothing against Cowboy boots at all, that just isn’t me or a look that I could pull off. I wear a size 10 in just about any shoe. After reading up on these, I decided to try the 9.5’s and the 9.5’s fit me perfectly. As soon as I opened the box, I put the boots on to wear around the house as a test drive of sorts. Within 2 hours my boots already started to feel broken in without any initial discomfort. I was amazed at how easily the boots felt more and more comfortable as I wore them. For a boot, the weight feels as light as a boot possibly could, without feeling cheap or of questionable craftsmanship. My only regret or possible complaint is that I didn’t buy a second pair. If and when you find yourself in the market for a pair of boots, buy these. The Classy and clean look to them, coupled with the leathers ability to form to your feet instantly, has me wondering why I didn’t pull the trigger on them sooner.
