As another reviewer states, this product will irritate immediately after shaving -- on the label, it states "fruit acids" and that is usually a hint that it will irritate your skin immediately after slapping it on whether you shave or not --- it stings more when you put it on right after a shave. Of course, if you shave in the morning, you may want to use the Day Moisturizer, which does not sting, and this product when you're ready to turn in for the night. As to its anti-aging properties, who knows with any product. Look at the ingredients and decide for yourself. It absorbs well. Sometimes, I've got shiny face after serum, then moisturizer - if so, after a few minutes, dab your face with a dry towel if you're going out. If you're not going out, just be shiny - we could all use an angelic look.
