Excellent purchase!
I initially ordered both this J Crew New Lightweight Sweater Blazer and the J Crew Open Front Sweater Blazer (both in black). Even though I loved both of them, I decided to keep this New Lightweight version since I'm hoping it'll be a bit more durable in the long run and the material fit more structured like a jacket (less drapey than the other 100% merino version) which I liked. The sweater blazer looks excellent... very polished and yet so comfy! I am very excited to wear this piece as a light jacket or a sweater for cold offices! (I normally buy either M or L in tops and this fits great in a M.)

Really it is a heavy knit. More of a coat than a sweater so kind of bulky, too much so to be workwear. Nice light grey color and well made.

Great material, unflattering shape
The thick knit material is great, color is a nice neutral, and the quality is fine, but the shape is very unflattering on me. It was too boxy and thus looked too big, although the size (based on shoulders, length) was right for me. Probably would work better on somewhat with a straighter figure, perhaps a smaller chest. Returning.

Lovely but Size Not Accurate
High quality, lovely sweater that makes any outfit look stylish without trying. The size was way off on the red color in regular XXSmall, more like XXL. I have this exact sweater in XXSmall navy and pink and they fit perfectly. Ordered twice & returned both times. So sad, loved the bright tomato red color. I’m size 2, 5’4, 112lbs.

SIZE DOWN OR FOREVER FRUMP
Purchased this sweater blazer with the highest hopes in my true size and should have sized DOWN. Unfortunately by the time I received my sweater, it had gone on sale and there were no more sizes left.

Beautiful! Drapes very nicely. It has a heavy feel so it doesn't hug anything you don't want hugged! Perfect for work or casual dress. I wish it was available in other colors!
