Dover Blazer (Nordstrom Exclusive)

Pros: The mustard yellow is a great color and the thick fabric and lining are of good quality so it definitely feels worth it for the price. Cons: This jacket isn't great for curvy/big-busted folks. I'm 5'0 and 33x25x32 and tried the jacket on in FOUR sizes: 1. 00P - fit great in shoulder and arms (length) but could barely close the jacket and the waist puckered horribly due to the jacket being more a straight cut and my body being more hourglass-shaped. The blazer looks great if worn only open and you never plan to button it up. 2. 0P - fit well in shoulders and arms but buttoning the waist still resulted in too much puckering and pulling of the fabric at the waist. 3. 2P - shoulders were too broad and arms a smidge too long. Waist was still puckering even when buttoned. 4. 0 regular - blazer overall length is about 2.5 inches longer than the Petite sizes, so it fit more like an oversize blazer and strangely looked better on me (according to my husband and my sister). The shoulders fit well (~14" across, same as a 0P) but the waist could actually be buttoned up with no puckering. Sleeves are definitely too long and I'll need to have them altered, but can also be rolled up and cuffed on purpose. In the end I opted for the 0 Regular as more of an "oversize" fit and it looked much better both left open or buttoned. If you have a more straight and narrow body type, this jacket is probably a better fit than for hourglass shapes.

I am 5’0”, 102 lbs., 34b. Bought the 0p in navy and it fits great. Slim-fitting (not a fan of boxy fits), but not tight.

Love his blazer! I got it in the bright blue and navy blue. I have worn it for work with dresses and skirts, as well as for a night out with jeans and a shell. I bought it in my typical j.crew size 4. It is comfortable and roomy, so there is room for a button Down or sweater under it.

This is an over-sized cut, but I think that improves the jacket, and I don't think it really runs large (the shoulders are fitted; the body gives a kind of boyfriend blazer vibe). The bright gold color is really beautiful, and I think matches well aesthetically with the over sized fit.

I purchased both the blue and yellow colors of this blazer. I'm 5'2 and 130 lbs and I purchased an 8P. Fits perfectly! I could've probably gone with a 6P but I like to have room underneath for long sleeve blouses. The colors in my opinion are bold/bright but not overwhelming.
