THE Perfect black skinny jeans

These are Kate Middleton's go to jeans, and I can see why. They are comfortable, they suck everything in (they sit on a higher midrise (no mom jeans look here---, so there's no muffin top)--and are super-flattering. LOVE THEM. In skinnies I usually wear a 30 just so they don't look too obscenely tight. In these, I could go either way--a 30 worked for a little bit more of a "relaxed skinny fit" and a 29 for that skinny fit. Both sizes were super comfortable. I might try on two sizes if you're in between and depending on your tightness preference. Don't know whether they will fade yet (I don't even care, I actually like that grunge, Paris street girl faded black look), but maybe some dark Woolite will help with that--as well as air drying. These will be my new skinny go to jean from now on. After trying these on (and 8 other brands of black skinny jeans), I bought two additional rinses, and I'm on the hunt for more. Pricey, yes, but the cost per wear, the flattering fit and the confidence boost--Priceless! Nordstrom buyers---buy more rinses of these jeans!

Uh-uh

Hated these black "jeans" or really spandex pants, I should say. Don't know how people rave about these, but they did not do a thing for me. Also, from the get-go, the button hole was already stretched and kind of fraying, so within no time the button would not have stayed in the button hole. Not good. C.O.H. Rocket jeans are soooooooooooo much better.

Fab!

I love these! I am between a 29-30, and in Jbrand I usually wear a 30. However after ordering both sizes I am keeping the 29 which fit perfectly (I didn't even try on the 30)!! The fabric has a strech so I almost feel like you might want to order down a size. I am 5'2 and these are a tad long, but I am used to getting my pants shortened so I plan to do that with these. Also- these hit just above the hips so no love handles!!!

Super comfy jeans

These jeans are super soft and fit me great except that I had to get them hemmed. I love that it is made in CA. The perfect pair of black skinny jeans.

Great...as usual!

J Brand 811s have been my go-to jean for the last year or so. They are skinny without being too tight and the mid-rise is extremely flattering (i.e. no muffin top!) The black wash is great for evening or a more casual workplace - since they don't really look like traditional jeans. The fabric is super stretchy and on the thinner side compared so some of my other pairs. I used to buy cheap jeans but they would wear out within a year. J Brands are worth the investment! Love!

Best fitting jeans - EVER!

I have tried them all....Seven, Citizen, AG, Hudson, Paige, and Joe's. I had seen these on blogs everywhere and since they were apart of the #nsale, I decided - why not? I am a standard size 4, so I ordered size 27. The second I slipped them on, I was in love. I have never had a pair of jeans fit so delightfully. They held in everything they are supposed to, but yet, I looked perfectly slim and "tucked in". I will be buying another pair in another rinse for fall.
