Isadora Strapless Corset Cocktail Dress & Gloves

I really wanted to love this dress but it just didn’t fit like I hoped it would. The dress has way too much fabric in the stomach area making it seem like you have extra pouch. It doesn’t really hug your figure like in the picture, I get it we all come in different shapes and sizes but I bought it specifically to show my figure and to look snatched!

Don’t waste your money, bought this for a wedding. Before I can get to wedding the rods in the corset started sticking me everywhere, an hour into the wedding the back rods were sticking out and showing through the dress. I was embarrassed and had to leave. Expected more from house of CB

So so disappointed in this dress, for the price I paid I expect way better quality. This dress was comparable to a dress you would buy at a fast fashion site. For starters there are exposed strips plastic on the top of the bodice, the boning of the corset was poking through causing holes on the interior lining of the dress and scratching my chest. The stitching on the gloves just seemed so unnecessarily cumbersome. I just expected so much more, not to mention most quality dresses I’ve had have had a little weight to it. This dress did not. Part of me wants to return to see if I could receive a better quality replacement , part of me wonders if they’re all the same quality! And the other part of me thinks maybe I should keep the dress bc of the unique color and see if a seamstress can save it. I’m hoping House of CB or Nordstrom can help me find a solution.
