What it is: A concentrated facial treatment water designed to be used directly on skin after cleansing and toning.
What it does: Meant to be used as the first step in your anti-aging routine, the treatment quickly and deeply penetrates to nourish, renew and replenish skin after cleansing. Its formula activates your skin barrier function to provide moisture for up to 24 hours after application. The essence contains iris florentina flower, which is known for improving skin’s ability to retain moisture. In just one week your skin is smoother and more radiant while after four weeks, your skin’s texture is noticeably improved and fine lines are visibly diminished.
How to use: Treatment essences are designed to be used directly on skin after cleansing and toning, becoming the essential first leave-on step of a comprehensive anti-aging skin care regimen. Apply a few drops of Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence into the palm of your hand and press hands together. Gently press onto cheeks, forehead, chin and neck. Follow with a serum or moisturizer for an enhanced anti-aging regimen.

AMAZING
Love, love, love this essence treatment. It feels great, smells great, and it does what it says it will do. I have tried a few other brands and I wasn't impressed enough to re-purchase. But so far this promises to be a keeper. I don't even notice a fragrance and I am very sensitive to fragrance. It is silky soft on application and is definitely hydrating but absolutely not greasy. Thank you Kiehl's!

This product is not for normal to oily skin…
After using this toner, I noticed my pores around my nose and chin were breaking out with pronouns white heads. I could just squeeze those areas and white heads would surface. Then you could see my pores wide open….

AMAZING

This is the one that works for me
This is the essence that made me a believer of adding an extra step and product to my skincare regiment. After my first bottle finished (it lasted a good 6 mos. since a little goes a long way), I sampled SK-II and one other essence. I came back to this one quickly. The consistency is wonderful and it's the best one for evening out my skin tone and texture. I see it working after my first 24s back using it. Sticking with this one for good.

highly recommend this product. It's a great rehydration products.
Even already dry and have line on your face. After use 10 seconds, you will won't see a line on your face.
On this price is good on good product.

Panic attack averted. Whew!
Listen you guys--I bought this on a (relative) whim about two years ago. About two weeks ago, I realized I was nearing the bottom of the container. I went online to purchase another and saw that it was a little back-ordered and would take about two weeks to ship. Then, with the thought that I might run out before the new container arrived--I had a mini panic attack. I have no idea what it does, whether it "works," but I do know that I LOVE it and that it has become such an important part of my morning and evening routine, that I--a VERY level headed and rational person--became upset at the prospect of living without it. It feels awesome as my first step. Also, it lasts a really long time (18-months to 2-years!), so its an affordable luxury when you do the math. Try it. I dare you.

great product
I'm almost finished with my first bottle. It's an essential part of my skin care routine. I use an oil cleanser to remove all traces of makeup from the day, then a regular cleanser, next is a witch hazel / toner sweep all over my face and neck, and then comes the ESSENCE. It feels like a watered down moisturizer. The light scent is pleasant and the formula is soothing. Then I follow up with eye cream and a hydrating lotion. It's a lot of stuff but this is a "Korean style" skin care routine. This essence is a part of the process. I'll gladly reorder again!

Really like this Essence Treatment
Just started using this and like it very much. I was using another essence treatment and I much prefer this one by Kiehls. It's very refreshing and makes my skin soft and moist.
