Classico Large 18K Gold Hoop Earrings

The earrings themselves are gorgeous. The design is completely strange. The posts are so long that they intercept the back of the hoop, making it impossible to get on the ear, let alone put the backs on. Additionally the backs are so tight that they do not slide at all onto the posts. I took these into the fine jewelry department after receiving them via online order, and asked them if I was doing something wrong. They agreed that there was no way of using the earrings unless the hoop was bent out-something that would have absolutely ruined the look of the earring. I was really disappointed because I was willing to spend the money on these-they are unique and beautiful, but completely unwearable.
