Indie Twin Double Stroller

I really tried to love it because it esthetically cute but honestly I’ve had some issues with this stroller like I am always having to put air in the tires, it’s has these clip bottoms that are always popping, the logo on the stitching is coming out and one of the wheels screw came very rusty. I email the company and never heard anything.

We have loved our double stroller. We have two boys, about 2 years apart and it is so nice having them side by side. The stroller fits through normal door frames and we couldn’t love it more. We got the travel bag for the airplane to keep it clean during travel. It’s my favorite double stroller by far.

I am so pleased with this double stroller! I have been using it multiple times a week for about three months now so I feel that I can speak honestly of my experience with the Indie Twin. The Indie Twin is a large heavy duty stroller that is meant to withstand rough terrain, but it is still perfectly suited for my unkept city sidewalks. This past winter we had a lot of snow and the Indie Twin’s airfilled tires were up to the job. They were able to handle the tough conditions with ease. I was seriously impressed! I love how easy it is to push the stroller. It is such a smooth ride and handles bumps well. The handlebar is another great feature. The natural cork feels gentle to touch and there are so many different heights you can adjust to. I’ve even put it on the lowest position so my barely 3 feet tall son can push. I use this stroller with my 20 month old son and 3 month old daughter, who uses the bassinet attachment. We love the bassinet because when we come home from walks if she’s asleep, we can bring her in the house soundly and let her continue her nap. I will admit though, it is tough to disconnect the bassinet. There have been multiple occasions where it’s taken me several minutes to remove it from the hot shoes. Perhaps it’s because it’s cold out? But with practice, I’ve been getting it out faster each time. I love the dark green color and the all black frame. It’s such a sleek look and it stands out in a crowd so I can easily find it. The sunshade provides ample coverage and I love that there’s a peekaboo window too! The stroller is easy to fold and unfold. It’s honestly not even that hard to carry for such a large stroller. Since we removed one of the seats to attach the bassinet, we only have access to one carry handle. However, it’s not a problem at all since we typically carry the stroller by the frame. The seats are quite comfortable and it’s easy to adjust the recline angle. At the lowest position, the seat is near flat. However, I do wish that the seats could be more upright at the highest position. The buckle is very easy to operate. I love that you can disconnect the belt’s shoulder strap from the hip strap. This is such a great feature because it makes taking my son out of the seat even easier, especially when he’s bundled up for the winter weather. We purchased the handle bars since my son loves to hold them during walks. Plus, I feel safer having an additional barrier between my kids and the road or vehicles. Just like with the seats, I wish that they could go more upright. The handle bars sit at only one angle and it’s hard for him to reach, especially because the seats highest position is pretty reclined for my preference. As my children grow, I’m glad that the seats are the same width. You never know how big each kid will be, so I don’t think it’s fair to have one seat larger than the other. I love that they’ll be able hold hands since the Indie Twin is a side by side stroller. By the way, I’ve never had a problem entering any doorways. Looking forward to purchasing a Toddler Board for when we have our third! I am so glad that I came across this stroller. There are so many things that make the Indie Twin special. Bumbleride needs to be talked about more!

I want it to buy this stroller so badly. I love everything about this. It's the most sustainable stroller for us but then I find out it would be so small for my toddler. She is gonna be 2 years old in 2 months. But she is tall. Gosh just why??!! This is my dream stroller. Why the canopy could not be a bit higher? So upset.

The stroller isnt really made for kids over the age of 2. My 2.5 yr old is too tall for the stroller. When the canopy is not in use, its practically a pillow for him. In order to use the canopy he has to sit forward so I can engage it. Secondly, the seats are always at a recline and never fully upright. Which I guess is visible online, I was just surprised how drastic the reclined-upright position was. We took it to the zoo and since he couldn't see much from laying back, he ended up walking.
