Wonderful Base Layer

I love these Oasis long sleeve merino wool tops. I have one in black in medium and it fits perfectly as a base layer, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing on it’s own (it’s too snug for my modest self). I typically order medium sized shirts. I also have one in blue that is a Large that I do feel comfortable wearing on its own so I have the best of both worlds. You really do notice the extra warmth from this 260 compared to the 200 (I have those as well). Excellent for wearing under sweaters & sweatshirts.

FYI it PILLS!

The title says it all. I've worn the T several times "in the house" and it's already pillling on the sides and body. Haven't even washed it yet. 5'5" 108 LBS. 34A/B purchased an XS. Slightly tight but stretched a bit when I wore it. Returning the matching zip up jacket. Not doing pills.

FYI it PILLS!

Great for piece for layering.

This top is great as a base layer and keeps you extremely warm. I own at least six of the same shirt in different colors and weights. I only wear it when the temps are below 40 degrees, layered with a hoodie and puffy down jacket. It is meant as a base layer, so the fit is tight. Something to keep in mind when considering sizing. The only criticism is cost, but I suppose that a gripe I have with all performance clothing and outerwear.

Comfy, versatile top by Icebreaker

100% merino which is my preference rather than a blend. Warm and versatile. Works as a baselayer but also can easily be worn and dress up as a regular top. The weight is medium and feels like a light knitted sweater, so different from the Smartwool 250 midweight line. Overall, a staple in for the winter and shoulders seasons.

warm, breathable, washes well, lots of shedding

This wool top fits well and is true to size in small - fitted but not tight for 34B, 26W. The material is warm, breathes very well, is odor free, and slightly itchy. Unfortunately, it sheds small wool fibers everywhere but the shape and quality appear intact after multiple washes.
