40-Ounce Wide Mouth Cap Water Bottle

NOTE: this is version 2 of the Hydro Flask 40oz - the difference being it *is* dishwasher safe, there is no lip like the first version & it’s one of the newer colors that came out - which is Fog. I had a few Nordy points that were sitting in my account for a bit & I’ve been wanting a Hydro Flask for quite some time & finally decided to get one. It’s so super cute! My husband was initially laughing - I mean who gets excited about a water bottle? I guess I do because I get it! I now am drinking about 3-4 full bottles a day (I have the 40 oz). The fog is a pretty gorgeous gray/violet. The new version of the bottle feels light & yet so wonderfully sturdy in my hands. I put various stickers on it. It keeps ice cold for about 24-48 hours & even if the ice melts the water is super cold. Is it worth it? It depends on what you are looking for. The 40oz is pretty big (lightweight when it’s not filled), it fits in my Kanken tote/backpack. I now since I’ve purchased this drink a minimum of a gallon of water a day & it’s super easy with this. So in my case, absolutely yes. Hydro Flask has a ton of accessories- so I also got a bright pink boot (what you see in my photos) & I ordered several of the accessories directly from Hydro Flask since Nordstrom does not currently sell them. Bottom line is - for me, whatever it takes to drink water & stay hydrated. It’s portable, keeps beverages super cold, & cute to look at. So for me the $50 price tag makes it worth it.
