Great for sensitive eyes and skin
I got a sample of this eye cream and it is outstanding. I use la mer original cream for my moisturizer, but cannot use their eye cream because it makes my eyes & skin itch and welt. This is the only eye cream I can use. It’s way better than the Chanel le lift eye cream and I’m 48 and have very tiny crows feet. This stuff works and is not irritating. Will be purchasing soon.

Nice and Cooling But Can Pill Under Makeup
The texture is quite interesting, it has micro beads that disperse more moisture when massaged into the skin. Definitely warm the product on the back of your hand or with your fingers before applying to the eyes because it can be a little difficult to make sure all the beads are dispersed. I’ve noticed a few times under my eyes a bead that wasn’t blended in. The cream itself is very moisturizing and cooling and I was extremely excited to try it but sadly I have to return because it pills when I apply makeup on top. I find it extremely weird considering Chanel markets the Hydra line as great for makeup prep. In all honesty, I do apply quite a bit of layers in my skin care routine so this definitely doesn’t play well with that method. It is fine for me if I’m not applying any makeup but that defeats the purpose of why I purchased. Overall, the eye cream is pretty good: I love the way it feels under the eye and I think if you’re someone that has a minimal skincare routine you might have better luck with no pilling. I don’t know if there would be any drastic changes to the under eye. I see this cream being targeted for people maybe 20-30 years old who need a little extra hydration under the eyes. More mature people can wear it too but usually when you get older you want a little more results. I really was rooting for this product, I’ve tried so many eye creams but haven’t had the best luck finding one that works for me. I’ll have to keep looking!

soothing eye cream
I have the driest skin and have tried countless eye creams to help soothe my skin. This cream instantly improved the skin around my eyes, and it was very hydrating and calming.

I love the whole Hydra line. I have sensitive skin and even with the mild scent my skin doesn’t mind. I have very dry skin around my eyes and this keeps it moisturized. I use it twice a day after cleansing my skin.
