Slimming and comfortable
These are slimming and comfortable but not tight and not wide. Sized a half size up per recommendations and they are great with still a bit of toe room. I think I could’ve gotten away with my actual size but probably would not work out if I chose to wear real thick socks. Overall, I’m very pleased and can’t wait to put them to use in wet weather. Went with the shorter height for easier on and off. I was afraid these would be tight in the ankle area from the tough rubber and elastic but the opening is wide enough that it’s ok. Definitely wear socks that cover the ankles though to avoid rubbing abrasions.

Do NOT buy
Totally agree with the reviews that the shoes HURT my feet! I worn for 10 minutes and my ankle started bleeding. This is totally waste of money.

They made my ankles bleed
They are so cute and functional, I really want to love them but they rubbed my skin raw. I wore them with ankle socks and didn't have my jeans tucked in the boot and that's when it happened. I know if it's cold or raining I will be wearing taller socks but I was just going to some horse stables and wore them because they are perfect for dusty and muddy places too. After walking around for an hour they were killing me. The rubber is so thick that it just cut in on both my upper ankles. I'm so disappointed. I guess I will be wearing them with tall thick socks and pants tucked in from now on

cute but too big
Upset they don't have half sizes. I am a 71/2 but the 7 was too small and it took about 21/2 weeks to get the size 8 and they are just too big. Definitely recommend investing into some thick socks if you are forced to size up. They're also very wide once you size up. for the price I expect to have half sizes.

OUCH, these hurt
i don't know how these boots got a high rating. They are so uncomfortable. The rubber is so hard that I can barely get them on. and the front part (above the hunter tag) has no gives, when I wear them that flap digs into my shins and leaves scratches/blisters. I deemed them 100% unwearable & figured 'what the heck" so i took a pair of scissors and cut the elasticized fabric on the sides. At least I can wear them without injuring myself. But I still consider these a fail. The good news is - they ARE waterproof.
