Sizing
I just received my sock and LOVE them. When I went to order them I was so confused whether to get a M or L. My shoe size is a 7 1/2 and sometimes an 8. I read many reviews and nobody had my solution. The medium being 5-7 and large 8-9, I went with the M. They fit perfect!!! with even some space to spare. Will be ordering my 2nd pair soon.

Be Careful
I bought these for my daughter to go with her boots (size 9). She wears a size 9 - 9 1/2 women's shoe. I originally bought size Large as it matched up with her shoe size. They were WAY too big. The socks bunched all up in the boots. So we exchanged the socks for a Medium. The medium size fit her size 9 foot (even though the description said they were for a much smaller foot) BUT the socks weren't tall / long enough to come up over the top of the boot as shown in the pictures. In my opinion, a waste of money and time on my part. These too will be returned. Such a cute idea.They felt nice and soft but definitely didn't fit my daughter's feet!

Sizing

Cozy
I wear a 7.5 to 8 shoe and was advised to go down to a size 7 boot. The medium socks fit great (lots of room, very cozy), but the boots were too small in the foot depth to accommodate the socks. I like a bit more room than that so I exchanged the boots to a size 8.
However, the boot height difference between a size medium sock (recommended for the 7 boot), and the sock size for a size 8 boot (large) is different. The length of the medium sock from heel to boot top on these socks are too short to fold over properly on a size 8 boot.
Even though they are a bit too big in the foot part of the sock, I had to go up to the size large sock so the tops would fold over the boot tops properly on these. Because they were bigger it does allow for an addition pair of regular socks to wear underneath for extra cold weather and snow, which is good.
Just remember to follow the sizing recommendation according to the boot size, especially if you are on the bubble between two sizes.

Great for the winter!
I have loved these inserts for my Hunter boots. They are perfect for a chilly, rainy day. I would think about the size of your rain boots if you are going to use the socks - you may need to order a size up on the boots if you feel like you are going to wear the socks a lot with them. I personally went for the size up and i don't regret it.

Great purchase!
I purchased these right after Christmas and they were on sale - score! I wear a size 8 shoe and went with the medium in the socks, even though those say sizes 5-7. I definitely made the right choice. The large (8-10) would have been HUGE on me.

cozy but large for size 8 boot
I have tall hunter boots in size 8 and bought the size large based on the size chart on the sock. They were way too bulky inside the boot and the cuff on top folded over the top of the boot past the seam. I ended up returning them and purchasing a size medium which fits the size 8 boot and foot perfectly.

Love My Hunter Boots!
I received a pair of navy hunter boots and the cream colored fleece welly socks for Christmas. I wear a 7.5 or 8 women's shoe size but the size MM welly socks were a bit too big. I took them to Nordstrom in hopes of exchanging them for a small size only to find out that MM is the smallest size. So now I just wear another pair of socks under my welly socks and they fit fine. They keep my feet so warm and the boots are so comfortable. Only complaint is the lack of a smaller size.
