Excellent for Seattle rain
This is a comfortable, nice-looking boot that fits true to size.
The description recommends buying the whole size down from your standard size if you normally wear a half-size. That might work if you wear the boot with dress socks, but I found that the whole size down was too tight with cotton socks, and probably wouldn't fit at all if I were wearing wool socks. As I generally associate rain with colder weather, I'd recommend buying the next whole size up if you wear a half-size.
If you don't have a shoe horn, I'd also recommend getting one for these boots. It'll make them much easier to slip on, and it'll help the inner lining last longer.

Inside edges rubbed my ankles raw
The inside edges on either side of the ankle rubbed my skin raw after a couple days of use, despite wearing them with thick socks. Be careful purchasing these. I don't know why they have to have that design with the split edges down each side.

Best Winter Boot
The Hunter Original Refined Waterproof Chelsea Boot is one of the best boots for rough winters. Although you still feel some cold, no outside elements (water, snow, dirt, etc) enter the shoe. This is the only shoe I would have during the grueling Chicago winter months.

Comfortable and good looking boots
The boots are actually quite comfortable. I received them right before our first rain of the season and I didn't want to remove them all day long. I actually got compliments by coworkers about how nice the boots look.
