Freyja Satin Ruched Long Sleeve Body-Con Dress

I just got in the mail today and was so excited to try it on. My goodness, I could not pull the zipper up past my waist whatsoever! According to the review before me, the sleeves would not stay up at the shoulders at all, and that happened to me as well. The ruched bodice was very soft and had a little bit of stretch. I am normally sized 4 or 6, but sometimes 2 due to a lot of today's clothing being stretchy. I got a small in this dress but if I really wanted it to fit, size medium could have been better. I am glad Nordstrom now carries the brand as I've always wanted to give it a try with easy delivery and return process.

This dress has a lot of potential. My issue was the sleeves would not stay on my shoulders. They kept falling down and this was just trying on. I am pear shaped and have good luck with other dresses from this brand. I am 5'4", 32b, about 38 inch hips and size small generally fits. I can not imagine how the sleeves would stay up - maybe it's a shoulder width thing? I don't know. But 3 stars cuz I don't know whether this is an issue with the fit of the dress on my body in particular, or the design of the dress. It os pretty and flattering otherwise, and if the sleeves stayed up, or were removed completely, I would have liked it. Go by the House of CB size chart for your fit/measurements.

i was able to get it on by myself somehow but i was wrestling the zipper for a cool 15 minutes perfect quality soft material but this dress was squeezing the life out of me i couldnt walk becausr the skirt part was so tight. i would inly recommend this dress to someone looking for a pictures only oufit. otherwise its jus not worth ur money

It is very beautiful, but it is an absolute joke! The upper body does not stretch AT ALL, and it is much, MUCH smaller than it should be, while the lower body (from the hips downward) stretches A LOT. Tell me, what type of body has such a small upper body and needs a dress that stretches that much in the lower part? What is the point of it? The body they imagined simply does not exist. I am worried that even if I had ordered two sizes larger, the lower body would still be just a chunk of ruched fabric. I just hit the return button.
