How to use: Turn the lip crayon mechanism to dispense product. Twist the product down before recapping and click the lid tightly to ensure closure. This pencil does not require sharpening.

Classic, long wearing and moisturizing.
I love this line of lipstick! It is moisturizing and long lasting. What initially drew me to Hourglass is that their colors seem to be in subtle hues that other lines don't produce. They have a berry red color that is my go to when I want a bold lip that looks classic not clownish.

No staying power and a bit drying
Bought this after having it recommended to me in Liberty. No staying power at all. Wears off my lips in 30 minutes, without having eaten or drank anything. Not sure why but just doesn’t last and feels dry on my lips, despite looking slightly shiny when I apply. Really disappointed as shade “sleeker” is gorgeous.. but it just refuses to last! Won’t buy again. Will stick with Dior as usual.

Bad packaging!
I really like Hourglass make up, and the formula of this lightweight lipstick is great - however, it is not long lasting at all and will transfer onto glasses/cups. My main issue is the packaging though, the lipstick lid constantly snaps off in my make up bag! So really impractical and messy to use on the go. Also the lipstick melted a lot in warm temperatures during travel.

Great color selection
Brand offers a lot of color options. I was able to test one color out and I really liked it. I usually only need to apply twice a day, because the color stays on well. Note that it will rub-off on cups, etc.

Yummy
This is wonderful lipstick, you can tell it is doing great things for your lips the minute you put it on. Especially in the winter when our lips get chapped from too much cold outside and too much heat inside - we need this lipstick!

Doesn't last. Need to reapply
I purchased this, because Laura Mercier discontinued my lipstick color. Hourglass had the closest match. This lipstick comes off so quickly. I could eat breakfast and have tea and my LM cream lipstick would stay on. I have a sip of tea with this hourglass lipstick and it's off I need to reapply. Waist of money.

Finally found it!
I love Hourglass products - after trying a few of these I found my favorite shade, although they are all wearable and stunning. Quality is beyond expectations. Never disappoints.
