What it is: A bronzer that delivers a natural, sun-kissed glow while exhibiting depth and dimension.

What it does: Using the illuminating effects of Photoluminescent Technology with bronze pigments, this sheer, airy, buildable formula sweeps on softly and blends seamlessly for a healthy-looking, radiant finish. It contains optically transparent particles that allow for seamless blending and color transitions. Each Ambient Lighting Bronzer is blended by hand, using an advanced mixing technique to create the perfect balance of pigments in a gorgeous natural pattern so no two bronzers look alike. It can also be used for subtle contouring.

How to use: For a warming look, use a powder brush and gently swirl it in the entire bronzer compact to pick up the perfect balance of pigment and powder. Lightly apply all over your face to achieve a sun-kissed look. For a defining look, apply it as a subtle contour along the temples, hollows of your cheeks and jawline.

Oh ya, this stuff is amazing. It's got the most subtle highlight/shimmer. Just beautiful without being over the top. Looks good even on my 61 year old face. Just enough to make me look fresh and vibrant.

Looks fake

A cosmetic associate applied the Light Bronzer to my face in store. I was horrified when I returned home, viewed my face in natural light & saw the bronzer was orange on my fair skin & had settled into my lines & wrinkles. In my opinion, this bronzer is not for mature skin. Would give it zero stars if possible. Returned unopened.

Looks fake

I was horrified when I returned home, viewed my face in natural light & saw the bronzer was orange on my fair skin & had settled into my lines & wrinkles. In my opinion, this bronzer is not for mature skin. Would give it zero stars if possible. Returned unopened.

High quality, great shade

Amazing bronzer. Very, very finely milled so it blends effortlessly. As long as you use a light hand, it's hard to over do it. Gives as slight glow without being shimmery or emphasizing pores. I have very fair, cool-toned skin and bought the shade "Diffused Bronze Light." Although it's a little darker than what I would typically choose, it has a red undertone to it which flatters pink-toned skin much better and doesn't appear orange. The packaging is gorgeous, I think this would make a great gift if you know someone who loves bronzer or makeup in general.

OK

OK nothing special I bought (3) of these during the hype and they barely show a dent in any of the products (DIM, Luminous, and Luminous Bronzer) I have fair skin / pink undertones so this bronzer can look a bit fake unless I use a darker foundation and change my undertones There are so many good bronzers (can even use blusher) on the market that you can apply very sheer, not sure this is worth the money It tends to apply darker (too much) even with a fan brush so if you are a bit on the pale side you may wish to find another product, or use the DIM if you already have it, which is a peachy-brown and can act as a bronzer Wish I had gone for the Geurlain with the pink tones mixed into the bronzer as that would have worked with my skin tone better

Not quite

I really like Hourglass products but this bronzer was too orange on my fair skin so it went back.

The bronzer itself is very pretty however it contains very visible glitter/sparkles and at the end of the day I don’t want to look like a little girl who got into her moms makeup and got glitter everywhere ┐( ˘_˘ )┌
