Beautiful but Ouch
I’ve been wanting a pair of simple large gold hoop earrings for awhile now to replace a pair I had in high school. Found these & even tho they weren’t the continuous hoop I was replacing, thought they were beautiful & since they were on sale….. ? Right? They are beautiful. However, I found that I had 2 major issues w/these. 1st: That they are open & not continuous, ended up being a relatively serious issue. The hook the opening creates tends to get caught on more things than I imagined possible! And the subsequent pull on my earlobe was painful. 2nd: For some reason my ears are reacting to the post & getting slightly infected. Could just be my chemistry, but both issues were painful! They’re going back. ( I used 90% rubbing alcohol to clean & sanitize the pair before returning. )
