Hooded Reversible Coat

I am very happy with this purchase. Love the fact that it's reversible. Nice weight for spring and fall. I am 5'5", 140lbs and the small fits perfectly.

This raincoat is great for travel because of its reversible nature. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the buttons are difficult to get into the button holes

Had this coat a couple of years. Love it, But washed it according to instructions … now wrinkly. Can I touch up with an iron?

I like the coat design. But since the fabric is not light and it has two layers, it feels more thick and heavy - more like a fall coat not a rain coat. It is beautiful but I need to find something else.

I have always loved Eileen Fisher coats. They are well made and stylish and this flared shape is perfect for my large stomach. I recently had surgery that unfortunately changed my upper measurements, so I love having a lighter weight stylish jacket to cover up in less than hot days. This stylish one has the advantage of reversing to a neutral light khaki type color for true versatility. The sleeves were thoughtfully designed for intentional-looking cuffs, which is perfect for my shorter arms.there are buttons and pockets on each side on reversal. There is gathering in the hood for extra detail. My only hesitation is the tight buttons - a little hard to button. The holes are right but the buttons are on tight. I’m sure it will loosen with use. Arthritic hands may require a buttoning helper device or added alternative fasteners.

So happy I found this…and on SALE too!!! A “drizzly” day on a weekend in Seattle was a great excuse to hunt for a coat in Nordstrom. It’s NOT water repellent, and shouldn’t be expected to provide total dryness in a prolonged, heavy rainstorm, but it was perfect for the intermittent sprinkles! It’s stylish, and has room to layer a sweater or vest underneath, if desired. Love the reversible colors too, especially since I had previously purchased Eileen Fisher pants in the same Bayleaf color. Looks “stylin”…have worn the coat in both colors. It’s now even a better sale price, so it’s a “steal of a deal” if you’re looking for a great addition to your wardrobe!
