New Job Candle

I love my candle. It was sent by my best friend and I'm so unbelievably grateful. I've been struggling and it is such a loving, generous gift! When it came first it came broken. It happens in shipping. I went to exchange it for a new one. Unfortunately, the person who tried to exchange it didn't know what she was doing. It took 40 minutes at the register! Its a GIFT! I felt bad enough she spent the $$. The employee grabbed a gift card from the store floor and put the money back there. Then she handed it back to me and told me I could rebuy it myself. She told me how much it was. I was so upset. I just wanted it exchanged. I didn't want to know the amount. I told her it was a GIFT when I first got there. She didn't even look at the paper, didn't listen to my email, my address (the address was written down), and told me I was wrong at every step. I've been a loyal customer for a long time. This is NOT how it works. There were 2 other people pretending to be busy who refused to help her. I'm grateful for the beautiful candle. I will never buy again from Nordstroms!
