Details & care

Designed to protect you from extreme cold, slush and uneven terrain, this hiking shoe designed in collaboration with outdoor-gear brand Halfdays takes you from the trails to the fireside in chic, cozy comfort.

Perfect for: Walkers and hikers looking to conquer the concrete jungles or the snowy trails in sure-footedness and cozy comfort that lasts from the first outdoor step to the last moment after you get home.

Upper: Inset ribbbed cuff and drawcord-toggle closure ensure a snug, stay-put fit that keeps the elements at bay. Waterproof shell prevents snow, slush and puddles from seeping in. Quilted upper with PrimaLoft® insulation wraps every step in cozy warmth, even in wet conditions.

Lower: Chunky foam sole with extended HUBBLE® heel absorbs impact and cushions every transition from landings to toe-offs. Innovative Swallowtail™ cutout splits the heel in two to put dynamic, terrain-specific cushioning under every landing. Vibram® megrip rubber tread and 5mm multidirectional lugs ensure solid footing on uneven surfaces, changing terrain and slippery groundcover.

  • Waterproof: protects against rain, puddles and slush to keep feet dry in wet conditions
  • Trail: provides superior stability and traction on hills, uneven surfaces and changing terrain
  • Pull-on style with inset ribbed cuff and drawcord-toggle lacing
  • PrimaLoft lightweight insulation retains warmth in wet or dry conditions
  • Gore-Tex® waterproofing provides all-condition dryness
  • HUBBLE extended, flared heel absorbs impact to reduce strain on joints and ankles and promote a smoother transition from heel to toe
  • Swallowtail cutout creates a forked double heel that acts as an independent suspension to help stabilize every stride on uneven terrain

  • Textile and synthetic upper/textile lining/rubber sole
  • Vibram megragrip tread maximizes surface contact for multidirectional traction

Love these!

So comfortable and already gotten so many compliments! I recommend ordering your true size though, I sized up .5 and they are a little roomy

Didn't quite hit the mark.

I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 in Hoka and ordered these in an 8.5. Unfortunately, they were too tight in the toe box with mid-weight ski socks on. I bought these for trips to the mountain, and for something to slip on after skiing all day. The area around the ankle is too tight for an easy slip on/off, especially when suiting up on the mountain parking lot for a day on the slopes. I couldn't get the shoe on without using my hands. There was rubbing around my ankle when I wore them without socks. These will be getting returned, they just don't hit the mark for my ski days on the mountain.

I give up.

I wear a women's EU39, US Women's 8.5/9, Men's 6.5/7. I followed the sizing chart and ordered these in a size 8 initially. Too small. Exchanged for the 8.5 which fit in length but they have the width of a man's shoe at the ankle. My heel and ankle are swimming and I cannot cinch them tight enough. Sadly, returning. They are so cute but the sizing and proportion of this shoe do not work for my feet. :(

Great winter shoe!

I got these for the Chicago winter. I walked 1.5 miles in them this morning and they kept my feet nice and warm in 20* weather. Great grip on snowy sidewalks. Only downside is the shoe was rubbing high on the top of my ankle which can we fixed with thicker socks.

Cute but not fully waterproof

I wore these for a buffalo bills snow game this past weekend. I was in the snow for 7 hours. These were pretty comfortable but I will say, these definitely are NOT as waterproof as advertised. If you plan on wearing these for longer than 4+hrs in the snow, I’d probably go with something else. They are pretty warm/ comfortable but 7hrs in the snow/ tailgating is a bit too long for these shoes. They are super cute though! I will be wearing them is less wet climates from now on.

Hurry and Buy!!

I’m really loving my new HOKA x Halfdays Kaha 2 Frost Moc GTX! Super comfortable, warm, and perfect for winter weather. They feel supportive without being bulky, and the style is so cute. Definitely a great buy for colder days!
