Chic, go to bag!

I love this bag! I was at first a little hesitant on ordering this purse, due to the very sheen on the leather. I was concerned it would give it a cheap look. And given how pricey it is, I just found it ironic. But I loved the black/brown color combo (not an easy find) and I really liked the structure of the crossbody, so decided on giving it a try. Nordstrom is awesome on returns, so it felt safe. I am so glad I did! This bag is the perfect medium size: not small yet not enormous. It's surprisingly lightweight, given that its leather. And the sheen of the bag, (the one thing I was concerned about) actually makes the bag look more intriguing. The crossbody strap is not adjustable, but it's a very good length. I'm 5'6 and the top part of the bag reaches below my hip. It looks effortlessly chic. Casual, yet upscale. Elegant, yet funky. This can easily be used to go to work or for weekend errands, regardless of what you are wearing. The inside lining of the bag, the outside pocket, the inside compartments, I have absolutely no complaints about this bag!

Chic, go to bag!

So sad to return it.

I wanted to love this bag - I was so excited to receive it. The sheen on the leather (Shadow) really cheapens the look; I returned it. I loved everything else about it. The size, shape and strap made it easy to carry. The interior space and storage were perfect for me as well. My phone, 2 glasses cases, make up bag and wallet fit easily.

A couple of flaws

I bought the blue color, but returned it for two reasons. 1) The sheen does make it look like cheap leather. 2) The cross body strap was way too long for my 5'0" frame, and there was no way to shorten it unless you take it to a cobbler. I could have done that but did not think the purse was worth the effort, I already thought it was a little overpriced. If you are at least 5'3" though, it should work for you. I did love all the pockets. Very practical.

functional shoulder bag

Its functional - can keep a water bottle in it, but it looks cheap in sapphire. Not sure if it's a keeper yet - am struggling with the glossy finish.

Great Hobo Bag

Purchased the tan color and couldn't be happier. Great neutral. Excellent quality leather. Has a sheen to it which is unique. Perfect size. Fits a large wallet, phone, 2 sets of keys, eyeglasses, etc. Comfortable on the shoulder as well as the cross body strap. Expensive but worth it. Very happy with this purchase.
