Reversible Genuine Shearling Coat

I searched a long time. HiSO genuine shearling is high quality, beautifully made, elegant, warm. Everything that I was seeking in a shearling coat .. finally! Very happy to own this coat now. And it’s even reversible. As to size, I am normally a 6, but in EF I always wear XS. In my search, I found that most genuine shearling coats are too large. S was like a M in other brands. In this coat, I ordered 4/XS. It fits perfectly. It is car coat length. The grey shearling is unique which makes it special. Though it has no hood, the collar can wrap around the neck, even warmer then, and stays in place with one button. All buttons close with quality leather loops for durability and easy opening. This coat is soooo cozy and warm! I travel a lot between the PNW and the Midwest, and this coat keeps me warm through both climates! I wouldn’t recommend for wet weather, though it helps fight the damp chill of Seattle really well. This coat is so warm that I cannot wear a heavy sweater or sweatshirt underneath, and I am one of those people who is always cold. This coat is streamlined in its cut and has a straight fit. It doesn’t really give you much shape, in terms of waist. It runs a little big, so definitely size down if you are in between sizes. The only place that this coat runs TTS is in the bust region. I’m a solid size 6, 5’6” and 140 pounds, but have a 32DDD bust and this coat fits me in the chest, with not too much extra room. The collar is my favorite part of this coat. You can fold it down or pull it up and be extra, extra cozy - there is even a button so that you can secure the stand up collar! The shoulders and arms are generous. Fur coats and shearlings usually have extra long arms, and this one does, as well. I have very long arms, and these sleeves still go over my wrists. Not dressy enough to wear over anything formal, but nice enough to wear over a party dress or slacks. Definitely great with boots and jeans!
