What it is: A thick, buttery body cream formulated with plant-based ingredients.
What it does: This plant-based formula is made with a blend of avocado oil and shea butter to provide a rich texture that softens and smoothes skin. Its Hinoki scent is inspired by the Buddhist temples of Mount Koya in Japan, which all carry the mystical, profusely warm and mesmerizing scent of the hinoki trees from the surrounding forest.
How to use: Apply to skin immediately following a shower or bath for best results.

scent is overwhelming!
When I bought this and opened the jar it seemed fine but when I put a little bit on my skin the perfumes scent was absolutely overwhelming!! I wear perfume sometimes and I like skincare products that are scented and I normally don’t have any fragrance sensitivities but this is way way way too much. Maybe I received a bad batch but it’s as if an entire bottle of dolce and gabbana’s light blue was mixed in. I will be returning this body cream.

Lovely scent
Hands down, the best lotion I’ve never owned. Not only is the scent amazing, but it feels great on my skin. Moisturizing and addictive. The scent is slightly reminiscent of the Japanese forests, so I can understand the influence. Although this Hinoki scent is deeper and more intoxicating, it lingers for a long time so a little bit goes a long way. This will be a staple for me. I highly recommend if you like deep, sultry, smoky scents.

I love this stuff. I discovered it with a sample that I used at bedtime. The scent is pretty strong at first but it’s pleasant and didn’t bother my allergies at all. The next day my skin felt soft smelled so pleasant. Immediately ordered the full size. Packaging looks nice on my bedside table too. Highly recommend.

I’ve always been a fan of Le Labo. I tend to stick with Santal products but this caught my eye. IT WAS FAR FROM DISAPPOINTING. THE SMELL OMG OMG OMG. If you like woodsy scents, this is the lotion for you!
