Could use improvement
I am saddened to give this jacket two stars because I love how lightweight and warm it is. However, the Velcros should've been buttons. It is extremely annoying to have the string on the inside keep attaching to Velcro and have mini pieces of thread be pulled out. It makes the jacket look old, I also wish that it was at least a few inches longer. I bought the jacket in a medium and for being 5'5 it's pretty good.

It's flattering, fitting as much as you would like it to be by pulling in the drawstrings for the waist, and I still feel like I have plenty of room to layer underneath. The zipper is being a little finicky after only a few weeks so I hope it holds out.

My only suggestion to Columbia is to put a cellphone zippered pocket in the chest area. I would recommend this coat for hiking, about town, and other activities!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jacket is warm in damp cool weather without being bulky. It was recommended I order a large, ordered my regular size medium and had no problem wearing a thick sweater with it. As others have mentioned, the drawstring does get caught on the velcro.
