A Boot Sock that stays in place and keeps you warm

The Women's Hike sock is very comfortable and washes well. I tend to hang dry my socks to prevent shrinking. I like that they fit well after washing and stay up, not slouching. I did dry a pair on low in a dryer and they shrunk. I am in Alaska and wear wool socks nearly year-round. I have been wearing Smartwool socks for over 20 years and have seen many styles come and go. It used to be hard to wear out a pair of Smartwool socks. These socks do show signs of wear, in the back of the heel and will not last for years to come like the original Smartwool socks. The women's socks tend to wear out faster than the men's socks for some reason. Compared to other brands of wool socks available today, I find these of the best, providing good warmth and comfort. Love the color choices!

previously the best sock - seems Smartwool has changed it

I've bought multiple pairs of the Women's Hike Full Cushion Saturnsphere Crew Socks (I'd stopped buying other brands/socks as it was ideal). Old ones i. e. 'Twilight Blue' were my favorite sock ever. The 'Frosty Green' currently offered is noticeably shorter (by approx 1 inch, see attached picture) than the old version of this sock, and feels to me to have a tighter cuff. The material also feels slightly different (thinner/slipperier). If the sock is different I feel it should be given a different name. Really disappointed that it's not the same sock and not of the same quality as it was before.

Great sock for hiking shoes

Love them for hiking— they are the perfect length for my boots. I also love the colors! I can hardly wait to hit the trails.

Walking on a cloud

I put these wool socks on and they are so soft and cozy around my feet. Starting off on a hike with happy feet is a plus. I just walked from Assisi to Rome using Smart Wool socks and not one blister! I now use them even for my everyday walks.

favorite socks

Smartwool socks are my all time favorites, I have never been disappointed with any purchase. I prefer the styles with at least some cushion.

Favorite socks

SmartWool socks are my favorite - hands down! Appreciate the size small, difficult to find with other brands. All SmartWool socks wear well, colors & designs are great. Always pleased with my purchase.
