Travel Wallet

There is a lot to love about this wallet. It’s lightweight which is great for diaper bags and traveling, the color is amazing, the details are nice. The problem is the functionality. I LOVE that it zips closed, and I love the zipper pocket on the left side! Where the problem comes in is the card holders on the right side. I love the material they used for this wallet, but they made the card slots SO wide that the cards are not secure in there. I bought this for my trip to NYC and when I unzipped it at a comedy club, my cards went flying out under the table! It happened a few times before I just realized the cards need to be in the zipper pocket or bunched up so they’re more likely to stay put. This would have been sooo much better if the slots were just wide enough for the cards so they didn’t fly out! I hope they try again and make it more functional because there is so much potential for this to be a great traveling AND everyday wallet.

Herschel is known for the quality of their products and this travel wallet is no different. I wanted to buy a good quality travel wallet that was also elegant so as to gift to my fiance. The Ash Rose color option fit the bill perfectly. Not only is it practical, but it is also classy. Recommended.

First off, I am a huge Herschel fan. I own several bags, so when I saw the travel wallet, I was immediately drawn to it! I got the mint color. So beautiful and fun. Unfortunately, the wallet does not function well. Because it is nylon, the cards FALL OUT OF IT! I noticed this early on, so I had to put the entire contents into the zip part. I'm so sad this wallet doesn't work well, because I wanted to love it so much. Please don't buy this. You'll end up losing your license or credit cards!
