High school backpack
My daughter was in need of a new back pack. She currently had a north face bag. But with all the extra compartments and bag being designed more narrow at the top she could not fix all her books, laptop and lunch. She has 5 mins to get to her next class so stopping to unload at her locker isn’t a convenient option. This bag is sooooo roomy and comfortable for all day wear. She has not complained of back pain or not having enough room. This new bag is so beautiful, practical and checks all the marks for my high schooler. She’s even is surprised she can stuff her coat/hoodie in there too, in addition to all her books. It’s a perfect school bag, you won’t regret buying it!

Awful odor
The bag arrived with an awful musty odor. The smell was so bad that the entire bedroom smelled musty from the bag. I put it out in the sun and sprinkled some baking soda inside the bag for an entire weekend. It didn’t help with the odor at all. I took it back to the store and they wouldn’t take it back because of the baking soda dust. I even wiped it down with vinegar but the musty smell wouldn’t go away. I ended up just throwing the backpack away! So awful

I liked the old design a bit better
The small pouch at top used to have a soft felt lining great for holding glasses/sunglasses. Also the laptop section in the previous model had the same soft felt lining whereas this newer design doesnt. Otherwise the pop quiz is a great backpack. I especially like the limited design I got. Sturdy zippers. However this one is replacing an older pop quiz i have that was otherwise fine except for the zipper on the front most pocket (the one with the patch on it) wore out and wouldn't open/shut anymore. Otherwise the backpack was fine so it kind of stinks to have to replace the whole thing. But I got a cool design and it was on sale.

Durable bag for work
I needed a more durable bag for work because I travel often and this one does the trick! It's also the first time I've seen a side pocket that's stretchy enough to fit a decent size water bottle.

Almost great
I have had my pop-quiz back pack for 8 years, (2 years of little use because of work from home), so 6 years of solid use. I love this backpack, it has been great. This would b 5 stars through and through, but the "vegan leather" or "poly leather" on the bottom of the bag has been wearing off for about a year now. it is getting to the point that anywhere I set the back it leaves a brown skid mark! lol - that aside, this bag has been great. remember i have the 2017 version, from the other reviews, seems like the bag has taken some turns on design and quality. i would recommend adding a true leather bottom, or just using heady canvas, and go back to the more padded inner pocket.
