perfect for work
Perfect size, easy to carry, and lightweight. What sold me was the trolly passthrough to put on top of a suit case or carry on. My stuff doesnt get lost inside and doesnt feel bulky. My one complaint tho is that the inside is black so if you have black electronics or wires you will have a hard time looking for it

Internal lining ripped
I like the clean look and it has a lot of internal pockets. Unfortunately the soft lining for laptop ripped at bottom after about 1 week of use. Returning.

I like the clean look and it has a lot of internal pockets. Unfortunately the soft lining for laptop ripped at bottom after about 1 week of use. Returning.

Excellent new design but has one flaw...
This new backpack sold by Nordstrom does not include the clip/strap that goes over the laptop sleeve in the backpack. Disappointed as to why the one sold through Nordstrom does not include this clip whereas the one on Herschel's site does. The backpack design is great and I recommend as the backpack has excellent organization pockets and can fit a whole bunch of items easily, even if it's just the 20L in size.

Excellent backpack!
I was looking for a backpack and found this one in Nordstrom and I love this bag by Hershel. It is a perfect size bag with lots of pockets inside. I love my new backpack!

Stylish and Organized!
Overall I love this backpack for my day-to-day use. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design. It's thin enough that it doesn't take up a bunch of space so I'm not knocking into people with it on the subway, and it is compact enough for a travel carry-on, yet it has enough space to comfortably hold all my essentials. I love the hidden spot for earbuds and the extra hidden flat compartment on the front (perfect for a tablet or documents you need to keep flat). Great organization options in the middle compartment that are all neatly displayed for you when you unzip it. My one big con is that the metal zipper pulls are LOUD. Like, maddeningly loud to the point where I can't believe they didn't choose a different material for them. I guess metal is obviously more durable and will last longer than plastic, but I've truly never had louder zippers in my life and they clang the entire time I'm walking. So I'm looking into covers for them to make the backpack perfect. This design flaw is so annoying that it's enough for me to knock off a whole star (especially since I will need to buy another product in order to make the pack work for me). I'd also say a few of the small organizational pockets could stand to be about 1/2 an inch deeper, but it isn't a deal breaker.
