best duffel ever!
I bought the navy/tan duffel and it was everything I hoped it would be. it was much larger than I expected but that was a bonus for me.
The exterior shoe compartment is spacious enough to hold more than one pair of shoes and the interior is pretty big too. Only downfall was that the bag smelled really bad when I got it but I just fabreeze-ed it and we were good to go.

Terrible quality - Not worth the price!!!
My husband used his gift for the first time on a short business trip. Within the first few hours of use at the airport the small metal clasp on the shoulder strap broke off and was lost! He was only able to carry the bag by the two short handles for the remainder of the trip.
He also stated that the main zipper felt cheap and breakable. It only had one pocket on the inside of the bag and definitely needs more. The positive things about the bag are the roominess, the color of the bag (brown straps on navy bag), the big shoe compartment.
Definitely cheaply made and not worth $85!!!!!!! I had heard such amazing things about "Herschel" products. Extremely disappointed and very hesitant to try anything from this brand again. Don't waste your money on this bag --- you will also end up returning it! :(

Terrible in the long run
I bought this for my husband and for the most part he loved it. What he didn’t like was that the plastic clips squeaked loudly when he used it but the worst part was that after having it for a couple of years, the “leather” is completely flaking off on everything. Definitely not useable anymore so I’m back on the hunt for a better quality bag.

Herschel is always a great choice!
Needless to say, I am obsessed with this bag. I have had my eye on this duffel for a year or two now but Nordstrom had it on sale for 25% off & I couldn't resist. The shoe compartment is great for keeping dirty shoes away from your clean clothes -- it fits around 2 pairs of normal-sized shoes. The strap isn't the most comfortable on my shoulder but that is a minor detail. Thanks!
