The Burberry scent embodies the duality of masculinity with soft, sweet notes meeting deep, strong accords. It opens with an indulgent, enveloping tonka, followed by the warm softness of vanilla, juxtaposed with robust leather. The harmony is completed by a deep, vibrant trio of cedarwood. The exclusively designed bottle transitions from deep, dark tones to a warm amber hue. The angular shape is an abstract reinterpretation of a horse’s hoof, detailed with the Equestrian Knight Design at the cap. Great date night cologne
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells really good. Definitely a step up from edt. It has a spicy sophisticated scent. I would wear this during the winter time because I feel like it might be overpowering in the summer. Would recommend for a date night.

Disappointing Elixir That Falls Short
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to originally receive this fragrance. Upon arrival, I was met only by disappointment. The fragrance is heavy on the sweet and booze smell. For the price that Burberry is charging, you can buy many other great fragrances. It’s strong, there’s no doubt about that, but the fragrance smells cheap. I cannot recommend this fragrance. Buy the original instead.

Not for everyone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not a one size fits all scent. I personally do not like the leather note that it has for the first hour or so but after it dries down it becomes this sweet seductive scent that to me smells amazing. The presentation is nice but nothing out of the ordinary. Not the best value but if its your type of DNA it might be worth it.

A bit strong for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Burberry Hero Elixir definitely leans bold and warm. Right off the spray, you get a strong hit of sweetness mixed with a woody, slightly smoky backbone. It feels rich and masculine, almost like a dressed up version of the original Hero, but turned up in intensity.
Performance is solid. It lasts for hours and projects well without needing multiple sprays. I actually have been trying to do half a spray and it still lasts all day. Almost to strong if a full spay. That said, it can come across a bit heavy, especially in warmer weather or close indoor settings. It's more of an evening or cooler season scent.
Where it loses points is versatility. It's not something you'll want to wear every day, and the dark sweetness can feel a little overpowering depending on your taste. If you like deeper, resinous fragrances, you'll enjoy it. If you prefer something fresh or subtle, this probably won't hit the mark.
Overall, it's a strong, confident scent with good performance, just not the most flexible option for me.

Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a smooth confident scent that leans warm and woody with a slight sweet edge. Right away you get that rich Cedarwood present with a suitable spice to it. Is perfect for any occasions, but I definitely recommend wearing this in evening packages sleek perfume is long lasting.
