Jasmine Body Oil

This is a light, quickly absorbed body oil, with a faint scent. It makes my skin feel so soft, and I don't have to worry about "drying time" after use. I've never really considered myself an oil person, but as my skin begins to age, I notice that the oils that were far too heavy for me a few years ago are now great. My only comment is that when my hands get slick from rubbing in the oil, I do have to be careful as the bottle is glass. Something to keep in mind, especially if you are buying this for someone else.

I used this oil for over a year and LOVED it - the smell and feeling of the oil is great. However, around a month in of using it, I developed a few rashes on my legs and chest - my partner also developed a similar rash. I went to the dermatologist and she told me I was having an allergic reaction to something I was putting on my body. I was in denial about the body oil, because I thought if it’s natural it should be safe. So I kept using it - I went on vacation for a few weeks this summer and left the oil at home and by the end of the two weeks the rash went away. I did some research and found out that in fact these “natural” and “clean” products can be more dangerous than the regular beauty products on the market due to plant oils and coconut oil (which can wreak havoc on skin as I found out) - lack of scientific and peer-reviewed testing) and the lack of preservatives can lead these products to deteriorate. So, be cautious when using these “natural” “clean” products and if you get any skin reaction, stop using it.
