What it is: A dual-coverage powder foundation that delivers a natural matte finish and up to 12 hours of wear.
What it does: Lightweight and buildable, the foundation mattifies all day yet feels creamy-soft with shea-butter extracts to create a luxuriously smooth feel. A mirrored compact includes a sponge and brush applicator, so you can customize your coverage.
How to use: For lighter coverage, apply the foundation using the custom brush, starting at the center of the face and blending outward. To achieve medium-full coverage, apply the foundation using the custom sponge. Layer and build as needed.
Pro tips: To create the smoothest canvas for any foundation and to help makeup stay put all day, start with a face primer. Apply foundation all over the face to create a bright and radiant base. For fuller, all-day coverage, layer the foundation on top.

Don’t understand the bad reviews
Wow, the old version of this must have been life changing. Because I really cannot understand all the negative reviews. This is a solid powder foundation that lays down nicely even on my dry skin. Though many may disagree, I give this an enthusiastic thumbs up.

Please bring back Hello Flawless!
I used Hello Flawless for years and was so unhappy when they discontinued it. This product was supposed to replace it, but it's nowhere near as good; it has a chalky finish and doesn't provide as much coverage. Plus, the packaging is stupidly designed so that you can't open the compact properly; I could only tip it upside-down in order to open it, then needed to catch the brush/sponge before it falls on the floor. I ended up throwing it out. Epic fail. Please bring back Hello Flawless!!!!!

Please don't discontinue this. Years ago you discontinued Maybe Baby. Then you discontinued Hello Flawless. And now it seems like Happy velvet is next on the chopping block??? Please don't do this to me again.

Why can't I find this anywhere????
I have used this since high school, I have tried several different products during this time period (MAC, baremi nerals, MARS, Bobbi Brown) those are a few I can remember but nothing compared to Hello Happy Velvet Powder Foundation. I kept thinking you were in your teens using this it's time to move on! But it proved to do the best job with my skin time and time again! N3 in the winter and N4 during the summer. My makeup has looked ridiculous since I haven't been able to find this product. I more resemble a clown. Any chance it's going to make a come back???

Please do not discontinue
I can see a lot of reviews on how Hello Flawless was better, but Happy hearts #4 suited me nicely too. Whether it's one or the other please do not discontinue making powder foundations. After trying dior, mac, chanel, bobbi brown and countless others, benefit is the only powder foundation that has coverage, doesn't clog pores and is so seamless! Please bring back powders ❤️❤️❤️

I used this powder for 15 years. It is the vest quality . I have very senistive skin, so a lot of products make my skin irritation. But velvet powder #1 is very comfortable and make my skin pretty. So everybody asked me, how come my skin is wonderful. I am very thanks for Benedict velvet powder #1. Again thanks!!!
